The wet weather of the past week in Syracuse has pushed the April rainfall total to almost 8.53 (officially) which now makes it the wettest April on record in over 100 years of record keeping.
My station here has recorded 6.56 inches for the month.
The normal rainfall for Syracuse during April is about 3 and a third inches. Rain has fallen in Syracuse on 22 of the 28 days so far in the month of April. There has been 13 straight days of rain. The April total puts it into the top ten wettest months ever.
There will likely be some lighter showers Friday making it two straight weeks with rain and our next chance for a dry day will be Saturday.
