We got our 1st Winter Storm today, not really much by our local standards but it’s a start.
This has been our 1st significant snowfall of the winter season, we are still on track for one of the *least* snowiest winters on record.
We had a high of 43°
F yesterday along with .43 in of rain.
The weather went from about 40°
F about 4:00am with a nice steady rain, temperature dropped to below freezing by 6:30am and changed over from rain to snow in an instant! Temperature continued a steady drop as an arctic cold front moved through, with a low of 20.2°
F @ 2:00pm. So far we’ve picked up about 7 inch’s of snow for today, with another blast of cold air expected overnight, bringing some lake effect snow of an additional 4-7 inch’s expected.
Here’s what the backyard looked about 24 hrs ago.
