Saw one of the babies today on the side of the shed, flew up on top of it, just wonder if the other 2 are still around.
It was fun while it lasted, watching the whole process take place right in front of us basically.

2 of the babies left the nest on 06/08/2014
the lone baby spent the rest of the day and overnight alone in the nest.
Last baby left the nest around 07:00am,on 06/09/2014 so the rest is up to Mother Nature.

Babies are 10 days old now, and growing fast. Both parents are busy feeding the hungry litle mouths.
4th egg can be seen at times under the babies, don’t know why it never hatched.

3rd egg hatched today, Mom and Dad are busy feeding the 3 open mouths.

Mama has been incubating since then, should hatch sometime next week.

Sometime during this past week, mama robin built another nest under our deck.
This time she built it on top of the ladder I have hanging underneath.
Sure hope I don’t need to use it anytime soon!
Was able to quickly change the camera over to her new nest,
this has a good angle on the nest. Let’s hope she has success this time around.
We have had a Robin nest on a post under our deck, so I decided to see
if I could get a camera up there before she laid any eggs.

Our Robin nest/eggs were *DESTROYED* by a Crow this morning!
So sad, they were within a few days of hatching.
04/30/2014 – The mother has been incubating the eggs pretty much
24/7 since the last one was laid on Apr 26, aside from taking off for a few minutes
to find something to eat, she’s been on the nest.

keeping everything as dry as possible.

Now the incubation should begin.
